Social Revolutions, Shifting of Powers and Overturning Old Orders - A New Chapter of Cultural Evolution?

People are beginning to wake up, finally, and to demand their voice be heard and taken into account by governments. No dictatorship lasts, nor any regime that infringes and supresses human freedom of will. Nothing lasts in that matter, even the Universe will not last for ever. But that isn't something that should concern us in any way for no living human will witness it anyway. We live today, here, in these exciting times of cultural uprising and social revolutions. Though, these events aren't really more exciting than any other similar events back throughout history. Actually, history has always been exciting, full of buzz and developments. In the past couple of thousand of years at least. It is funny too that people have been feeling like they live at the end of days for at least the last one thousand years. If they keep thinking this way, some generation eventually will hit the jackpot, finding themselves living in the last days, not any time soon in my reckoning. Though I may be wrong, the apocalypse may be tomorrow – sell!! But seriously, as serious as one can be in this ridiculous world, put mildly.
Things have been pretty exciting in the last century, in the last couple of centuries even, even in the last.. yeah, right. As I said, history has been pretty exciting. And continues to be so! How exciting.

Even Arabs are beginning to see that they are being manipulated into mindless obedience by their leaders who say "Allah Akbar" and this line is enough for the crowds to adore them. Well, not anymore. People now want freedom, whatever the definition of this, at large. This most recent wave of social revolts began at an unlikely place really, Tunisia, wow. And interesting. I do hope Egyptian people will be able to bring pharaoh Mubarak down. Bulgaria is with you people of Egypt! They say the whole city of Cairo is blocked with widespread protests and the atmosphere is really tense and full of sense of a revolution.

Religious leaders in the region were fast to declare that the social unrests were "islamic revolution", there is no islamic revolution there, but revolution of the people. The "Muslim brotherhood" has long lost its grounds with the average arab people and they are made famous mostly by "western" media who still rag about "Al qaida" that is most popular in the "western world" ..and this Mubarak has no self-respect to step down, seeing the dislike of all these people out on the streets. An utter display of a complete lack of dignity all for keeping his throne's sake.

People in other dictatorship regimes have risen as well, like Syria and Algeirs. I wonder if people in Iran will be able to gather enough strength to rise once again against their oppressive regime. Well it is about time for people in North Africa and the Middle East to wake up. Now I understand the importance of coordination and communication – of course, how logical. That is why in the past there were no such flash revolutions and it was really hard to gather people into an uprising. And that is why, when the printing press was invented and the first pamphlets were used for spreading the idea of the revolution that took place in 1789. Communication is at the core. That is why totalitarian governments control information and utilize propaganda extensively, because if they allow information to flow free, they can't keep their control over people. Thus, any government that exerts control over the means of communication and information exchange are totalitarian and have dirty laundry, that they are afraid not to surface.

There are also other, more subtle forms of dictatorship around the world, such are more or less all highly centralized governments, like USA, China and what the EU is turning into. I guess centralization of governance is not a good thing as it inevitably leads to some forms of totalitarianism, awaking human's most basic instincts – selfishness and domination, with all of their branches. May be the central model is good for some much more advanced society, culturally and intellectually. But not for humanity at this stage of our evolution.

We live in exciting times today and order is shifting. Old orders are gowing down and new, hopefully better, ones are emerging. I do hope the same will happen with religious dogma soon, as well. As religion is another major impact factor for cultural retardedness, violence and segregation. I can only widly speculate what historical treasures are hidden in the Vatican archive, all of their dirty laundry with some precious manuscripts, along thousands and thousands of other interesting documents. This archive is like the Federal reserve's gold stash – closed to all public eyes until the last pope is dead and all old conventions are brought down. Such crazy facts would surface from this archive, that world history will be completely shaken. Unless the last pope burns himself with it, which I dread to even think about –all those precious archives. Yeah, now that will be the revolution – if people in the US gather in millions and demand that the Federal Reserve opens its gates to public audition and if other millions of millions people gather and demand that the Vatican opens its archives to the public!

Hopefully that's the way all the local revolutions lead – to a global revolution that will mark an entirely new chapter in history and in humanity's cultural evolution. Evolution in the mind.

When Man Created God. Genesis of Religious Thought and the Spiritual Need [part 2]

In our contemporary societies, intrigues, rows and fights, jealousy, hypocrisy, selfishness and ignorance, break-ups and problematic communication are considered as standard spices to human relationships. It is normal for people to fight and be unable to reach consent with each other. It is normal to hurt each other both physically and emotionally, whether or not we feel sorry and apologize afterwards. Violence has always fascinated man and has been a preferred form of entertainment for both children and adults alike until this day. It is normal for peoples` behavior to first react and think later. Stereotypes and behavioral frames plague the minds of the youth, as well as their parents`. In their relationships, people do not seek harmony, but domination. Helplessly submitting to the will of their emotional affections and spontaneous urges.

It is no wonder really that ignorance and mental passivity are preferred states of the mind by default, since realization in self-awareness is not an easy process and causes much emotional distress to the traveler who dared to plunge into the depths of his soul. Self-control is an art that only the strongest wield. The first steps are the hardest. Just as the darkest hour is just before dawn.

A grotesque picture can be drawn of humanity today indeed, a present that we can radically transform. We create the future today, whether we do it consciously or not. If the average levels of awareness and understanding are heightened globally, we will make the next step in our social evolution as humanity and as self-aware, intelligent beings. This mental evolution is necessary if we are to move positively forward as humanity, because if we continue to develop only our exterior habitat, but remain stagnant and narrow-minded in our spiritual concepts and understanding one day a third world war with technologically advanced weapons will be inevitably fought. And this is a very grim prospect indeed, but lays very real and immanent on the path we currently follow. Our future relies upon us. Every individual matters, because if we are to truly change our world for the better, the change must begin in the mind of the individual! You may not be able to change the world alone, but you can change yourself and with that to positively influence your very local world. You may not be able to stop war and hate in the whole world, but you can stop those in yourself and bring peace and harmony in the world closest to you in the face of your family, at work, at the street in your relationships with friends and all the people you communicate with in your life. If you improve yourself and aim to higher awareness and understanding you influence the people around you and bring positive change in your life and the lives of people close to you.
And together we can move the world and drown it in a global wave of inspiration!

So, where do you start? Start with yourself!
How? Transform yourself into an example and embodiment of the new ideals – patience and understanding in your relationships with others, self-control and higher awareness in active mentality. Search for the reasons of your reactions and behavior, analyze, comprehend and understand yourself. Build your character, ask questions and search for the answers. Do not be passive – improve, dare and do!

Know yourself and reach the profound depths of your mind. Do not simply be an average person driven by your instincts and primal reactions, push your limits over the edge, sculpt yourself and wield yourself.
Most people find it hard at first to even see their inferiorities and imperfections or perceive their limited awareness, so that they wonder whatever there is to improve in themselves.

The human Ego is a strange entity or this essential personality that is formed in your childhood and established in your adulthood that you address when you say “I”. Often our perception for ourselves and what we show to the world differ, whether we do it consciously or not. Mostly our behavior as personality is driven by psychological motifs that are beyond our awareness. There are many common forms of behavior noted by the science of psychology that people share, like the compensatory behavior that is widely spread. For instance, a person who has poor self-esteem and deepened level of uncertainty tends to adopt an arrogant, aggressive and anti-social behavior with varying levels of intensity. Aggression always is a sign of inner uncertainty and fear.
Our ego has the peculiar property to conceal the true motifs for our reactions and affections, always searching for justifications, never allowing you to be critical towards yourself and ever sustaining a sense of greatness and impeccability. As if the purpose of the ego is to keep your consciousness in a semiautomatic state, preventing it from expanding and awaking. As if the human ego is a primal chain that frames our consciousness and keeps us asleep. A primitive mechanism that we haven`t realized as a limitation yet, along with our very basic mammalian behavior in the face of all the primal instincts that drive us.
As if, indeed self-knowledge is hidden from man, as the ancient wisdom says and human eyes have not yet fully awoken.
By a rule, if you are to grasp and comprehend the world and the most hidden mechanisms of the Universe better, you must first comprehend and understand yourself, the cosmos within you.
This is achieved by the process of self-observation that results in a heightened self-awareness and realization. By putting yourself at the place of the known object, whom you poke, question, explore and analyze. The more questions you ask and the more persistently you think on the answers the deeper your insight goes and the more you realize and understand.
Observation and contemplation are at the base of all knowledge. The answers rarely come in an instant with a flash, but usually unfold gradually in time becoming more and more profound and complete. Seek and you shall find.

How knowing yourself changes you? In quantum physics there is one fundamental principle, without the presence of which no system would have existed at all – this is the observer principle. The act of observation changes the behavior of the observable object, even more the act of observation sets it in motion and definitiveness. Without an observer no knowledge and no form exist. This notion is quite profound as it implicates that beyond our own consciousness that creates our personal reality, we live in another much bigger reality that is the Universe itself. And as far as we can discern this cosmos we live in is filled with all kinds of forms and definite objects with definite shapes and electromagnetic properties. Furthermore, this atomic soup of particles ultimately organized and reorganized in such a way that eventually led to life on Earth and evolution of human beings.
The Universe, from the energetic aspect we perceive it, is an unimaginably huge void of blackness and intangible nothingness that is scarcely filled with all the atoms that make up the billions of octillions of stars, all the exotic stellar objects of the cosmos, our planet and all life on it. As chaotic and unpredictable the quantum world is, all the systems from the stellar to the microcosmic are guided by certain patterns, physical principles and existential rules that define their form and movement. That is, the cause-and-effect link chain rules the world as we know it. Anthropology and cosmology tell us that the physical systems were set into motion and definite existence before the emergence of human consciousness, therefore there must be a greater, cosmic observer who by the act of observation has set into motion the organization of the atoms into ever more complex structures and the birth of the Universe itself. This is essentially the consciousness of the Universe herself, this Cosmic observer that observes itself and by this act creates all the forms, life and everything we know. Just as there are dimensions inside dimensions, so there are consciousnesses inside consciousnesses in a fractal manner and our human consciousness is a living mind inside the Mind of the Universe or this that we call God. Extremely profound. We discussed more this concept in our previous lecture and we will unfold it more in the lectures to come.
So, the act of observation gave birth to organized physical systems that led to our creation as well. Governed by the very same principles, the act of observing yourself sets your inner universe into motion. By observing yourself you gain insight about your inner workings and psychological mechanisms, you ask questions and tackle the answers, you analyze and by this process of taking notice of yourself you reveal new space in your mind and create new forms and knowledge.
Again, the more you take the effort to think, the more thoughts in your mind move, merge and organize into ideas, comprehensions, concepts and unfolding insight.
In the process of knowing yourself you become a creator of your very own, inmost universe that you fill with life. This is the deepest meaning to human life, that began to unfold since the ancient times when human consciousness gradually awoke for itself and began observing the world, this process of awakening from the primitive mammalian consciousness level to human is the profound transformation that inspired its symbolic reenactment in the biblical story of Genesis 3:7 “And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked;” The subject has detached itself from the object, the consciousness became autonomous and differentiated from the primordial womb of the unconsciousness. Now, the consciousness perceives itself as a subject that observes the world without as well as its world within. The symbolic psychological process this biblical story describes is very interesting to analyze, which we will do in an extensive lecture soon to come.
“And the eyes of them both were opened..” the human consciousness revealed.

It is time for the next big step in our spiritual, mental evolution. It is time to think deeper and realize wider, it is time to evolve our minds further! Someone
recently told me "What is normal?" in regard to psychopathologies in our contemporary society that are propagated as acceptable, so I though if we loose all of our criteria, what are we going to turn into ? And what about the health of this psyche of ours? I believe people should stop ignoring psychology, or deep troubles await us ahead!

2008 Summary: A Look Back Towards the Future?!

What is 1 year? One year in all human history!

Quite an insignificant time-span on its own, but together each year is an important part in the human history sequence.
For one year little change may come to pass and again for one year everything can change!
1 year is not such a small chunk of time after all and sometimes so much things can happen during the course of an year that when you look back it seems like a decade!

This time-stretching feeling is a natural effect of the more rapid movement and development of events. You know, the faster you go the slower time goes for you. And that is why when you don't engage yourself in a lot of activities and don't do and create much new in your life and habits you get the feeling that time passes by you shockingly fast.

Nature has a cyclic nature of existence that repeats different processes over and over again to maintain balance and keep life going. Human life obeys more or less the cyclic law of nature and our daily lives are filled with repeating activities and things we repeatedly do. Everything we do today in our lives affects and shapes the events in our tomorrow.
Humanity as a whole is a reflection of our collective soul and, as people are becoming more and more aware, this soul obviously is in a very sick condition.

During the past year we didn't saw anything much different than the year before and all the trends that have began to develop long back in our regional and global history timelines. We saw military conflicts, people starving, religious tension, an incomplete and old economy system crumbling by its own weight. We saw prices rising, jobs lost, melting ice issue that escalates into
increasingly threatening Global Warming trend that brings up solutions like new taxes and a whole array of regulations all about taxes to be paid if any rule be exceeded. So in the end, the global warming turns out to be a new industry to make money of, a big industry and a lot of cash. Of course, the global warming is real and our society does need a change indeed, but this change must include a whole new level of advancement in our minds as well!

Problems, issues and unstable relationships have always plagued humanity and seems like they always will.
This is because we generally behave the same with little change as people always did, we cling to old views and follow rules and traditions centuries and even millenia old. All this makes us stagnant and underdeveloped in our minds.
The reason for all human conflicts is human nature itself that we barely understand and that blindly guides us driven by our instinctive programs and subconscious mechanisms.
The question is, will our past continue to be our future trapped in the ever-going circle of mental primitivity?

Of course, there is no universal cure for all global conflicts but there is one process that can deeply affect and change an individual's life and his/her relationship with the world. This is the process of knowing yourself or self-realization.
When a person consciously observes and analyzes him/herself reshaping and building their character for the better and more complete. The more people improve themselves and their relationships with others, the more we will advance collectively as one society with common goals: peace, understanding and prosperity for all!
It is acheivable, this is not some utopian dream.
The truth is that we must save ourselves, as one advanced humanity. No one else is coming to save us if we don't make this effort collectively together!

--------

The key is hidden in yourself. Search for it there!
All the answers to all the questions are always where you are! Ponder that for a while!

Improve yourself, change the world!

Like Everyone Else You Were Born Into Bondage. The Bondage of Your Minds` Limited Awareness. Part one: the Ancient Wisdom

“Know thy self and you shall know God”

This old saying is not just a mirror-like mystical proverb that has long lost its meaning throughout the ages.

Indeed, on the most shallow level this proverb makes perfect sense, since we are made “In His image and likeness”, but let`s analyze the symbolics by more thorough and rigid means, after all our brilliant minds are intended to be used as much as we possibly can.

If we turn our minds` eye towards the first half of this ancient proverb and try to analyze it that is to analyze ourselves as it instructs us, we will inevitably notice something profound in the nature of our mind, of our soul. Namely, its layered structure and the jointly coexistence of the opposites in ourselves. If you observe yourself, you will reach the limits of your conscious awareness at some point, beyond which lies the vast expanse of our unconscious psyche. Your thoughts pop up out of nowhere in your mind, random memories and associations surface in your imagination, you react in ways the reasons for which are hidden and unknown and you are under the control of your moods and emotional affections.

When you try to follow the cause and effect chain that is behind all these, the reach of your awareness hits the impenetrable barrier of the boundaries of your consciousness, where it dissolves into the darkness of your psychology. And these unexplored depths of your mind contain exactly what you need to know in order for you to solve your inmost controversies, settle the uncertaincies and better your personality, while in this process of self-observation and self-analyzes you expand the borders of your self-awareness and consciousness on the whole. This is essentially the process of knowing yourself.

When you discern the existence of your unconsciousness, you have made the first step. The second step is to acknowledge the existence of your imperfections that is behavioral and characterological inferiorities and draw-backs that affect your communication and relations with others. It is this deepend awareness about your psychological world that widens and heightens the state of your mind so that you become not just the subject who experiences his/her thoughts, moods and reactions, but also the object of your observations, who creates new thoughts and emotions that react to this higher self, that observes yourself. So, there are three essential entities here: your thoughts, your “I” experiencing your thoughts and your Self observing your “I” experiencing your thoughts. You become both the subject who observes and the object of observation.

It may sound somewhat confusing at this point, but it will clear up further on in our lectures.

In fact, the presence of observing subject and observable object is a fundamental and universal law in order for any knowledge to exist. And this law applied on a universal scale creates life and all forms there are in the cosmos. When you observe yourself and gradually realize the causes, reasons and mechanisms of your psyche you create knowledge and expand the dimensions of your mind, you fill your inner universe with new life and new forms that only existed in potential before your minds` eye brought them to life. All this may sound very inspiring and even exotic in a mystical kind of way, but the process of realization is a truly incredible experience that goes far beyond all words.

Now that we discerned the essential components for knowledge formation, we can briefly turn our attention to the second part of the mystical ancient proverb at the beginning of this post.

Just as when you observe yourself and generally realize your mental factuality, so that you can confidently declare that “I am” (existing), by the same principle this Universal Entity or God declared the same for Itself. The Universe is the mind of God, the universe is the observable object that God, as the observing subject, realized and declared that “I am”. God IS, because the universe exists. Just as we are because our minds exist and realize our existence. God has no name, God is everything but a mere human being with human face and emotions and God certainly has no religious preferences. It is quite ridiculous to say that the Universe is evil or good, christian or muslim. All this grotesque religious tension is due to our limited awareness and primitive understanding. And “evil and good” are purely human qualities/concepts and apply only to human beings. This is a very ground braking and hard to wrap your mind around, but don`t try to swallow it all up at once. Analyze, imagine, observe, think, estimate and synthesize.

It is time to grow up and move on to the next level of our mental evolution, it is time to realize the universe at large. And this is it. In brief. Very brief. Yes, God is Everything. Not just everything around us, we live in the Mind of God, we are made of God. Of course, this does not makes us gods, but we are truly divine beings. Everything is Divine! Do try to think objectively and release your mind off religious dogma and stagnant narrow mindedness. Think, analyze and expand your mental horizons. Use your mental potential, do not satisfy with old, primitive limits. Evolve! We will discuss the nature of reality and go deeper into our understanding about God later on in this series of lectures, somewhere at the beginning of 2009 by schedule.

But now let us return to exploring our selves, because we have to first solve our inner misconceptions and lift our limits in order to understand the Universe and grasp it better.

And this is the meaning of the old wisdom “Know yourself and you shall know God (better)”

And the most pressing issue people need to solve globally is the limited and even lack of self-awareness and self-control. This is a process that every person has to initiate in him/herself.

The global change must begin in the mind of the individual! No one is going to do it for you, there are no magic wands, pills or brain technologies. You can fry your brain with frequency modulators or get high with psychedelic herbs if you like, but the true process of mental advancement is exactly a process, that becomes a state of your mind and a standard in your life and interaction with others. Take your life-long dose of inspiration and live by the standards of higher awareness and deeper understanding!

Do not use the old, passive ways of thinking and do not say “Well, that`s just the way I am” when addressing an inferior aspect of your character. You have the potential to build your personality and transform your inferiorities into qualities! There are no defined limits for the human mind. Just look around you, our whole civilization is a product of our human minds. All the knowledge we have and I want to emphasize on all is a fruit of the human minds. Is this not so?

Do not be simply driven by your instincts and mechanical reflexes. Observe, think, analyze.

Here is a simple and important exercise for you to begin with:

Since aggression is a major issue for humanity today, next time when you feel angry or aggressive emotions take over you, stop. Seize yourself and step out of the emotional affection. Now turn your awareness inwards and analyze. What is the reason? Why do I react this way? “He/She makes me angry.” Yes, but search for the reason not in the person there, but in yourself! Of course, this scenario is not universally applicable, for there are situations when the reason is indeed in the other and not in yourself. Say, you are angry to someone because they are ruing their life without being able to change their self-destructive behavior. Still, anger will not solve anything. Anger and aggression are primitive emotions that never solve anything, but just make things worse. So, in the longer term try to fully take control of these negative emotional states and remove them from yourself.

Have you ever thought about how excessively we use the word “hate”? “I hate milkshake; I hate work; I hate getting up early; I hate winter; I hate him/her; I hate, hate, hate….” We hate everything from inanimate objects, to situations, to abstract concepts, to our friends and family. Why do we hate so much and so easily? Why do we have to use this word at all, even in this careless and humorous way?

But the inadequate use of words and concepts is yet another topic to discuss at another time.

You must be overwhelmed by now with all these issues that you even did not considered as such and thinking “Cheese, life is so much easier when you are not that much aware of everything.” Indeed, the life of an ignorant is an easy and simple life. You just don`t bother to think about global events like the reason for religious tension, political conflicts, human behavior and nature of reality. But, again our brilliant minds are intended for to be used and used by the most out of it! Also, and this is a major misconception as well, geniuses are not born, they are made! The brain is just like a muscle – the more you use it, the better it gets!

To know yourself starts with questions, questions asked to yourself about yourself! Mental advancement consists of self-observation and self-analyzes, to search and realize the reasons and psychological motifs behind your emotional states, affections, reactions and behavior. To grasp and understand the cause and effects that shaped your character and personality throughout your life and to consciously modify and better all those negative and inferior traits that plague your self-esteem, confidence, communication and relationships.

This is the highest meaning of being a human, beyond that of evolution to simply reproduce yourself and beyond that of the social system to contribute to local and global economics like a brick in the wall. To heighten your mind is the intransitive meaning and deepest mystery of human life. And to heighten the global standards of consciousness is the only solution to humanity`s crisis.

Improve yourself, change the world

Despite our technological advancements, the mentality of the average person in the world is quite primitive and elemental. And our behavior is driven by our mentality, thus most of the problems in societies today are a direct consequence of those low-levels of awareness and consciousness in the average person.

“At least two thirds of our miseries spring from human stupidity, human malice, and those great motivators and justifiers of malice and stupidity, political idealism and religious dogmatism.
A. Huxley

Modern peoples drift in the shadows of their confined and entangled with confusion mentality with little spiritual advancement since the age of the last prophet! And as important as education is, since it is an essential factor in every advanced society, intelligence on its own is not enough for a person to be complete. The limits of the mind are lifted only when a person looks into himself/herself and starts to analyze his/her psychological nature a.k.a character, behaviour, emotional affections. Of course, this is not a one-time analyzis that solves it all, it is a continually active process, it is a state of the mind.

Anyone who observed oneself and people around them surely would have noticed how much emotional creatures we are, than reasonable ones.

People are driven by their emotions, affections and desires. Just think about the extent to which instincts define our behaviour - we feel sexual affections or anger if someone does not comply to our wishes or expectations, interestingly love and hate are very closely related, even though opposite emotions. Sexuality is a very powerful instinct that is involved in a considerable part of our interactions with others, whether it is conscious or not. For instance, when we meet with someone, unconsciously we judge them on whether we feel attracted or not to that person. Often people have the tendency to overlook the good qualities of someone, just because they noticed some trait that they did not liked. Here is a situation I realized once, I frequently got offended by people who talked too much and kept themself in the center of attention. Until I turned my thoughts inwards and asked myself "why do I feel like that?", guided by the observation of C.G.Jung that

"Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.”

this is due to the intrinsic mechanism of the human psychology to project our negative qualities (or those that we consider as such) onto others, so that those others irritate us.. because we do not agree with those personal traits in ourselves. It can be really tough to acknowledge an imperfection to the awareness of your ego.. but then I persisted and realized that actually I am the same kind of person that talks too much and draws attention to myself.. in the same time I don`t consider this behaviour of mine as very appropriate, so other people who behave the same irritate me... because I see me in them!

This is the way our psyche works. If we understand that and begin to ask and seek the answers and reasons for what we are.... we`ll see the world in an entirely different shade – the light shade of the aware mind. It is important to ask yourself questions regarding motifs of our behaviour, reasons behind your emotional affections and reactions. By understanding yourself you greatly enchance your ability to communicate with others better and have a positive effect on all your social relations. Observe yourself, know yourself.

The most fundamental issue in the center of all disturbances and unsettlements in our world (referring to our human civilization) is the lack of active self-awareness and conscious behavior on the whole.

We do our daily programs and chores mechanically. We live in autopilot mode and rarely take a moment to reflect on ourselves. We live by laws and models dictated by dogma and stereotypes and adopt static and overdigested concepts, which we apply to our overall outlook. And from all these second-hand thoughts and behavioral frames we define our "I". And we drift throughout our lives like lost shadows of something that was never found. Your true SELF.

The most divine and highest purpose of the human beings is to know oneself, to explore and advance your mental horizons. To take a plunge in your unconscious mind and expand the limits of your everyday "I" perception.

Mental and social passivity is a true plague for the contemporary world.
There is a saying that "It is easier to raise a flag, that offer a helping hand.

Indeed, this proverb can be implicated even in our daily lives. We are unhappy with something, and that`s as far as we go. We tend to complain and do nothing to try and change what we are not happy with. We rely on someone else to make things better for us. We walk pass injustice and leave it to someone else to resolve. Most people will live through their lives in the most passive of ways, without doing anything valuable and voluntarily, without contributing with anything practical for the benefit of society (except by participating in it`s economical machine and ensuring successive generations).

It is easy to intuitively perceive that such behaviour is not right (or should I say righteous), unless you are a complete selfish hypocrit. However, the fact is that humanity is in suffering, sorrow, separation and grief. There are numerous humanitarian organizations, yet the people in the world needing help are billions as much. You don`t have to travel to another country to join the Red Cross to do your part, you can do it right where you are - in your country, your city, your neighbourhood and all the people around YOU. By being tolerant, understanding, ready to offer a helping hand for whatever you are able to, caring, compassionate. If you do not hurt others and always strive to improve yourself. Sometimes, only your solidarity with others` pain is enough to warm their hearts. Because you show that you CARE.

Don`t be rude, cold and ignorant, showing your back to the world, because the world will respond you likewise, and you will never find true LOVE, nor intransitive happiness or inmost harmony.

It is time that every person makes their part in our global society, towards peace, balance, understanding and unity. Make, do! Don`t just watch passively, go and do! Do help, do be tolerant, do try to understand, do appreciate diversity in people and find the common traits in us all. Do change yourself towards better and more complete!

Let us DO make the world a better place to live!
